Fruit season – cherries and jostaberries

It looks like a good year for fruit, which is great as we are currently enjoying the last jar of blackcurrant jam. Yesterday I picked the cherries – not a huge crop, but very tasty.

Today it was the turn of the jostaberries – our first real crop from this bush. I am not familiar with this gooseberry/blackcurrant cross, so I am looking forward to sampling it.

Tomorrow I hope to pick the blackcurrants and raspberries.
